Super Gut Homemade Yoghurt

Ingredients

  1. Add probiotics

    Add lactobacillus reuteri capsule to 1/4 cup of store-bought yoghurt of choice.

    Add in 1 cup of either coconut milk or organic grass-fed cow's milk.

    Add in 1 teaspoon of inulin powder (prebiotic)

    Mix well.

     

  1. Let ferment for 26-48 hours

    Let the jar sit with lid gently on top, or cheesecloth wrapped over top with a rubber band holding it in place so the yoghurt can breathe. Let it sit on the counter or in the oven with the light on for a minimum of 36 hours and a maximum of 48 hours. Depending on how hot it is in your house, this may need to be adjusted.

    If there are any foul odours or slimy texture, throw it out and try again, as it has gone bad.
